OUT OF ROUTINE

Pedagogy dates back to the evolution of the civilization. It helped societal evolution and emerged strong in size and aspirations to permeate components and compartments of the society. Once education and pedagogue were synonymous. While later developed former, former grew inclusively from gurukul to global. Education a peace and pastime activity turned highly professional, rewarding, complex, sensitive, challenging, competitive and economic & political preference of government responsibility. Contemporary, it claims parameter and panacea of progress and prosperity of person and the entire population. Mythology determines education and economy diametrically distant sisters but are prevailing concurrent and coherent. Rather education is determiner and pace setter of economy. Licensing and certification of education is going to be bygone story in years to come. Syllabus and curriculum has become dynamic and innovative. Evaluation is under process of reform from subjective to holistic, marks to grades and ‘single boiled rice test’ to ‘not a single child left behind.’

Important stakeholders of education are schools and play pivotal role, have to serve anvil and hearth for formulation, implementation, propagation, assessment and feedback of the end product / process. Apart from implicit and explicit odds, hurdles and impact of globalization to commercialize and commodify education, schools have to leap forward from conventional classrooms & campus, need shift from teaching to learning with modern means of participation and interaction.

Undoubtedly responsibility to deliver the desired result, follow the flow chart, use and upkeep the educational time and tools, handle and care human relations to ensure resource and of course within time frame is not easy as to talk and scribble. This seeks lots of commitment, conviction, cooperation, wishes and blessings.

Thanks.
