Wetge Public School, KSP Phase-II, Bokaro Thermal, Bokaro, is Coal India Ltd. sponsored school through its subsidiary company Central Coalfields Ltd. managed by Wetge Society, New Delhi. The school was started in the year 1993 with a few students of KG classes to give value education primarily to the wards of CCL employees and surrounding village children in this remote & educationally deprived colliery area. Subsequent years, classes and sections were added to the school to meet the growing demand and popularity of the school. The school is carved into a hill which adds beauty, peace, solitude and a monastery status, suitable for teaching and learning process.
The school got affiliated to CBSE in the year 2006 for Secondary examinations and in the year 2013 up to Senior Secondary level with Science & Commerce stream. Presently the school has over 500 proud students, about 50 dedicated staff and befitting number of conscious and satisfied parents. The school is equipped with the state of the art classrooms, laboratories, smart classrooms, library, computer lab, and campus.
